Season 1 (2021–2026) was mostly about blockchain in travel: NFTs, DAOs, tokens, and the Trips Community experiment. A lot of it still holds. Some of it I'd say differently today.

When people ask me what I do, I say I'm a consultant, because that's an answer people can process. The true answer is that I do a lot of research. I learn technologies by building things with them, and sometimes I get to the frontier and find something really useful. Then I share it.
I've been early a few times. I built a vacation rental booking site in 2001, before Airbnb. I got into Bitcoin in 2013 and started taking crypto for bookings. In 2017 I founded Trips Community, one of the first travel DAOs. In 2021 I started this podcast. Now most of what I build is with AI agents, and a lot of it touches blockchain too.
